How the Dilpoma of Biblical Studies Course Operates
Lectures are currently held in 6 centres around Sydney. In principle it is possible for a student to study all 16 units by attending one centre for 4 years. For the location of centres see page 2 of Brochure.
There are 4 terms each year commencing February, late April, mid July and early October. One unit is offered at every centre each term. The term consists of 7 weeks of lectures (2 hours on one night per week), plus an exam in the eighth week. For term dates see page 2 of Brochure.
The course leads to the Diploma of Biblical Studies with honours. Therefore students are encouraged to commit themselves to completing the entire course rather than ceasing after fulfilling the pass diploma requirements.
Students who commence the Diploma of Biblical Studies course and then are unable to continue, can, upon application, receive some cross crediting for subjects in the Moore College Certificate in Theology Course (Th.C). Such requests should be made in writing to the Manager for External Studies.
